snitchOriginally posted by The Geofster View PostGot a problem here with one who is constantly taking advantage of the very lax supervision we have here by skipping out early or not even showing up. I don't think it's fair to others, but I don't want to look like a fuckin' snitch to my boss either. Keep in mind that she's only worked here for a week or two.
snitchOriginally posted by 347Mike View PostI escalate on people all the time. I also coordinate projects and have very strict deadlines, though. I usually give them a heads up and if it doesn't improve immediately, my next action is escalation.

snitchOriginally posted by Vertnut View PostIf she's already starting that, she'll get caught eventually, but dropping a hint may not hurt.
lifes not fair pussyOriginally posted by The Geofster View PostNot to the point that it matters much to me, but it certainly matters to others and it's far from fair.

lol. I work with tons of people. If you start slacking and start making me miss my deadlines because of your negligence then I am letting my high ups know about the problem before the problem makes its way to them.Originally posted by ELVIS View Post

I supervise roughly 25 people in my departments at work and in my opinion if this is going on then I would want to know. If someone comes to me with a problem like this usually the first thing out of their mouth is I don't like telling on people or even saying anything but we Have a problem. If someone is skippin out work early or slacking off then not only are you messing with my pounds per man hours but possibly deadlines . I don't have time for laziness and won't tolerate it

Morale takes a hit when you have a freakin' loafer. It's also contagious as fuck. People start getting the, 'If Susan leaves at 4:45, I'm gonna start leaving a 4:45,' mentality, and the next thing you know, it's no longer the laid back honor system that you know and love.Originally posted by slow99 View PostDoes it affect you or your work?
She's in her first 90 days. She should be busting her ass to make the best impression possible. If she's actin like this her first few weeks in, it's going to get ridiculous when she's more comfortable in her job.

In my opinion, it is everyones job. There are tons of people out there willing to work and are still jobless. If you can't even work at your unsupervised job for a full 8 hours then what good are you?Originally posted by BEARY View PostIf you're not her boss, then it's not your issue. Granted, I can see how it may impact your morale or that of others, but it is what it is....Until her boss puts a stop to it.Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.
