Looks like warranty is out ( In Service was Aug 08). There are 6 in Detroit but hate to pay for shipping a core.

Eric you seem to be hitting the same wall we did, with cross referencing to a standard GT part.

I'll check the link Yale posted and see what comes up.
    Thanks guys, for the input.

Greenbullitt if you have any other ideas lmk. I would appreciate it!

I checked 4 suppliers (Cardone, Centric, Motorcraft, and Duralast), and they all list the same caliper for the GT or GT500.

that sight is pretty high from what I recall. I used to sell through it...

No kidding. Probably with just a few miles on it. Maybe it has been sitting up? I've owned 20-year-old cars that didn't need calipers. I'd be surprised if anyone but Ford would stock one, but you'd better take the Vaseline with you.

Well. My system lists different numbers for the Gt500 and GT, but when I go through the order process, it says the independent Gt500 number has been superseded to the regular GT number.

I have an SVO and a 65 F100 with a 460. Same shit, different day. Most of the help doesn't know what an SVO is, and then some want to tell me that they "also came with a V8". I'm more mellow in my old age, but there are some really clueless help out there.

I've been to S&S. Scary area.

This is where my curiosity came in. The book I was looking at showed the same [rear] pad for `05 - `10 so I was curious if it might be the same caliper but couldn't find any definitive answer. I'm guessing they're not the same but it was worth looking at.

And just to "qualify" my snide comments about the parts guy - he looked to be at least 60 years old and one would think someone his age, working in a store that sells auto parts would know the manufacturer of a muscle car made for the last 40+ years!?

I find plenty of good help, but at $8 an hour, you might as well be flipping a coin. Luckily my staff is very tenured, and not because I'm afraid to shitcan or hire people. I can't really speak to any other stores abilities with the current size of the company.

    Never go anywhere else.
I'd also suggest carrying if going to this location.
