ZIMMERMAN RAISED $200k FOR LEGAL DEFENSE

 Wow.

An attorney for George Zimmerman says he did not know the neighborhood watch volunteer had raised $200,000 on a website when he asked a judge for bond last week. Attorney Mark O'Mara said Friday that not disclosing the money was an oversight.

Zimmerman was freed Monday on $150,000 bond, after his family told the judge they would barely be able to come up with the money to bail him out. O'Mara says the family was not trying to be deceptive.

Florida Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester asked to learn more about the money, though O'Mara believes the judge will not change the bond.

Zimmerman is accused of second-degree murder for the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was unarmed.

Why the fawk does it matter? You set the bond he made it who cares where the money came from as long as it was legal. Do they really want you to blow every cent you have to be able to go free on bond?2004 Suzuki DL650

They want cash money. So anyone who can put up the full 100 percent will get charged it if they can afford it. Revenue collection rolls on.Originally posted by Downs View PostWhy the fawk does it matter? You set the bond he made it who cares where the money came from as long as it was legal. If not put up the 10 percent and let the bailbondsmen worry about it.

Bond was low because the prosecutor knows he will get bonded anyways. Prosecutor also knows he will lose. Simple as that.

He got bonded at the amount he got bonded at because that is the amount that nearly everyone charged with that crime there gets charged.
