I estimate getting married sunday would have saved me about 3-4k :-(

Not sure I really want to disclose that the flying jew is not actually jewish! It was a 1-2k cheaper on Sunday, but the real reason was just availability at the venue we wanted. Place was solid booked on every Saturday for over a year. Between Friday and Sunday we picked Sunday, at least people are not really fighting traffic from work, having to take off work (multiple days for those in the wedding party), etc.


I really appreciate all the comments in here, definitely a brighter tone then I was expecting. Even though I haven't met everyone here, it is nice to have a community like this, however dysfunctional, to share with.

j/k My wife and I have been married just over 13 years now, and it's been great. Damn that makes me feel old.
