I watched my nieces and nephews get dragged through my sisters' crazy. Fuck, live life as you see fit, but keep the kids out of it.
So, about 2 weeks ago, we asked her if she wanted me to be her dad. she said "you are my dad." so, she has been calling me that ever since. When i told her last night that i asked her mom to marry me, she was excited as hell. everyone that sees us together doesnt think for a second that she is not my little girl, because I love her like my own.
I told Lauren a few days ago that I was worried that if we did end up splitting up, I wouldnt be able to see her. She said she would never keep her out of my life.
I couldnt be happier.....unlesss maybe a fat check showed up in the mail with my name on it.

I have changed so much over the last several years, for the better. A couple of years ago i would have said "im never getting married" and anyone that knows me knows thats true. I didnt settle for anything and i was so guarded that i couldnt even make a relationship work. I have changed my ways of thinking and because of it i have made myself a much happier person and my life is amazing these days. For the longest time i thought i was crazy in all reality, i was just with the wrong people. Every relationship i have had i have learned something from. So with that being said, i have been there done that and im ready for this point in my life and i just found someone that i can do that with so im taking that chance.

She likes to come home and see what I have done that day. I supported her for the first 5 months. she was waiting tables, and then got the oilfield job that I had her quit.
She didnt like that I was paying for everything, but at the time, I could afford to and she couldnt. Now, she can afford to while I am out of commission.
That was the problem with the ex. i would go to work, and she would sit on her ass all day. She would not do a fucking thing. And she had this fucking body odor....this sweaty body odor....constantly. she would wear nasty pajamas all day.
"golly gee whiz, i wonder why my husband cheated on me?" here is a tip....be nice to your man, smell good, make yourself pretty, and clean the fucking house and cook dinner for him..............or he will go and sick his cock into someone that looks good and smells good and is nice to him.
This goes for you as well, guys......if you don't appreciate a woman that smells good and looks good, she will get her brains fucked out in a motel on her lunch break by someone that does.....and you will have no idea.

Kenny, and her new fiancee. Kenny hates him, so shit happens and we argue over it. I had this very conversation with her as well. No voices were raised, no insults were hurled. I came from a place of love, and told her she needed to be cautious about jumping in to marriage with this dude. If she's happy, and she seems to be, then great. I'm happy for her. But she needs to be cautious, because she's rushing in to it.

I just hope my ex finds someone like who I have found. Someone to make her happy and who will treat my kids right.
Lauren has a 5 year old girl named Evan. I have basically adopted this little girl. She is my world and I am her's. She has seen guys come and go and has gotten attached to a couple. I am the only one she has ever called daddy. She doesnt even call her real father daddy any more and she will even tell you "he is not my daddy......Levi is." I made damn sure mommy was okay with this and I also made Evan know that I was okay with her calling me daddy. She is amazing and follows me around wherever I go. If I am in the barn working on a tractor, she is in there with me......she may be dancing or singing or playing with some of my tools, but she sticks to me like glue. Seeing as I am unable to be around my boys, she has been a blessing to me. She loves riding with me in the jeep with the top down and knows all of the words to my Bob Marley cd. She head bangs to rob zombie and loves Elvis. I couldnt be happier to call her my daughter.........even bought her some black converse yesterday covered in little pink skulls. lol

It's like common sense is just raining down from the skies! It's so crazy!

Just like she doesnt need shit from her daughter's father. She is a strong independent woman that doesnt need to use a guy for what he can give her.
My ex needs to learn that.
