I guess I can pretty much write off buying a 2013 GT500 now. I can only imagine some of the stupid bullshit you'd have to put with at the stealership to buy one of those cars.

Nothing has changed so far other than the premiums for the signed nameplates have increased which is really no surprise since obviously no more of those can be produced. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a special edition car in his honor though.

Always cracks me up when people who have never done a fucking thing belittle the accomplishments of someone that has. Especially when that someone literally changed the complexion of the automotive landscape, forever.

Lets see....He bought the bodies from them....I would guess that the answer would be yes. They sold him the bodies and were happy to do so. They knew what he was going to do to them.

Yes..yes he did. Other than about half the original body and the frame he did invent the car. You should compare the original AC car and a cobra. there's not much that is the same especially the later 427 models.
The kit car companies were making EXACT (externally) replicas of his car and even calling them cobras. Do you thing Kia should be able to copy a mustang, call it a mustang and be able to sell it? No thats is copyright infringment and they can't do that.
The kit car manufacturers were give a very easy way to continue building their cars. Donate to a childrens charity! What a evil bastard! He want's us to give money to a CHILDRENS charity in order for us to continue to steal/copy his car! OMERGERD!!!!
