Don't lose your wallet. Problem solved. Charging a fountain drink and a pack of gum is stupid.Originally posted by Baron View PostI have cash in my pocket right now, and it's been there a month. I charge most every purchase, and if there is an issue, or my wallet disappears, it costs me very little.

Really? Charging a 69 cent fountain drink is better than paying with cash? Perhaps you guys should spend 15 minutes at a QT one morning and watch all the idiots in there that have to try 3 different debit cards because they all get declined. Carry cash -- it's worked in American for a LONG TIME. It also doesn't require vendors to give a percentage to Visa or somebody like most CC's do. Heck, the local doughnut shop in my town has to have a handwritten note up that debit cards and CC's require a minimum $3 purchase. Really people? Carry a little cash. I'm not asking you fill up your tank with cash, just pay for your stupid drink and gum with it.Originally posted by Baron View PostDude, put a shirt on, your c-section scar is showing.
I can't say that I've ever had to spend extra time at the till because the modem was down, my card was declined, etc. while paying with cash.

I don't work as a cashier at a gas station. Now I see why you feel the way you do. Does it suck to have to go out and empty the trash cans in the rain too?Originally posted by juiceweezl View PostReally? Charging a 69 cent fountain drink is better than paying with cash? I never said I charge a pack of gum or a coke. A have cash I carry for those purposes. I don't waste much money like that, so I don't need to I make many trips to the atm. Usually when i'm getting low on cash I get some cash back with my grocery transactions and the like."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

How much longer does it take to deposit a check as opposed to withdrawing money? If I had to guess I would say less than 10 seconds.Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

LOL Keep thinking that's what I do. When I need cash, I open my safe at home. Nice grammar skills you have there too. Oh, and I don't waste money because I'm disciplined. If you can't carry cash because you spend it too easily, then it sucks to be you.Originally posted by Baron View PostI don't work as a cashier at a gas station. Now I see why you feel the way you do. For the record, I carry cash because I am - in fact - a cashier at a gas station.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Well that's a whole nother thread there. I will not carry cash / change in my pockets just to please anyone. I would rather pay for it with plastic and transfer the funds over to card. At least 1% of everything I buy is given back to me. yes even that Soda or gum :-POriginally posted by juiceweezl View PostReally? Charging a 69 cent fountain drink is better than paying with cash?
