I will agree that many never learn from their mistakes, but its a bad assumption that all never learn.
Mike has never been anything but a fried to me. I've never had a single issue with him. I could see where he might have a temper, however, but in reality, who doesn't?
I sold CJ a paint gun a few years back, and he seems to be a nice enough guy as well, even though he seems to have a stick up his ass about me for one reason or another.
This thread has been very interesting, though.

I've known Mike for a long damn time and know the details on some of the situations that he has been involved with. He's an intense guy but honest and I know if I needed someone to catch my back he would have zero issue jumping into the mix.
On a side note: we all do stupid shit when we're young and the majority of us have gotten away with things that very easily could have followed us around.

I'm just giving you crap, as what you typed seemed strange.

I understand what you are saying in general, and I've never met either person. I've only been on here for 1.5 years, so when the shitstorms start, I just assume it's based on some history, as many of these folks appear to have been here forever.

There's a lot of good and bad that comes with this place.
Those were some pretty heavy accusations to throw around at someone. Even more so at someone who's business gets some exposure from this board, which is no secret, so whatever is said is going to affect that. Everyone will see it and CJ knew that. That being said, I think for CJ to call Mike out with some stuff that supposedly happened and making a huge stink about it without having much to back it up was the wrong way to handle his personal vendetta against Mike. If you've got a problem with someone and you've got some hard core shit to back it up and you feel the world needs to know about it, fine, but not like this. If Mike really said some of those things, then he was wrong and has deal with that.
I've actually never met CJ or Mike in person. I can only go off of what gets posted here and my personal dealings with folks. If I don't care for the way someone portrays themselves here, I'll make sure I don't have any personal contact with them. When someone makes a good impression in person, away from the board, that's what I'm going to go with until they show me otherwise. I've talked with Mike on the phone a few times and he did me a real solid by coming all the way out to my place to take a look at my roof to put my mind at ease. He was courteous and professional. There's plenty of evidence on the board of him doing the same for others.
Now, do I always agree with everything everyone has ever done or said on the board, including the parties involved? No, I don't. But, I do feel this was poorly handled.
