Its already been proven that majority of animals have social behavior like we do. Happy is a social behavior, so is remorse.

So when was the last time you were told by a dog they don't have emotions? I mean, are you like a doggy psych, and they spill their beef with you? You are sure that these dogs can be programmed to show and exact replica of an emotion, but they aren't capable of feeling those emotions...and you know this how? Lol...give me a break you moron.Originally posted by Baba Ganoush View PostLmao. Y'all are pretty dense. Dogs are people too!!!

Nope, apparently y'all are the dog experts. I'm just a realist that doesn't personify the instinctual reactions of a simple minded creature, which I guess y'all can relate to. I've also had my fill of misguided dog owners.
I'm just stating my opinion on the matter, not sure why y'all feel the urge to attack with insults. They're just dogs guys, they don't need support groups lol.
Wait, did you just ask me if "a dog told me" something? Oh brother.

It's not really something you can have an opinion about. "That car is white" is not an opinion, it is a fact. Dogs have emotions, and that is a fact. The only reason a dog can be trained is because it has an emotional response to its owner/environment.Originally posted by Baba Ganoush View PostI'm just stating my opinion on the matter,When the government pays, the government controls.

So you're saying, I tell my dog to sit, and it's emotions command it to sit? A wish to please is not what I would classify as an emotion.
I'm thinking it's the fact that its' instincts, being domesticated, tell it to comply. That and the fact it will be rewarded.
Do you think cows, or lesser lifeforms, can express emotions? Enlighten me, because I don't see it.
Sure my dog gets excited, gets scared and crowds me during rain storms, and puts her paw on me when I pet her while she's sprawled out on my floor, but I don't see it as emotional. It's just a response to her surroundings or my actions, that is involuntary. I guess I'm just a shallow bastard lol.

Emotion is a complex psychophysiological experience of an individual's state of mind as interacting with biochemical (internal) and environmental (external) influences04 2.6 KB'd Cobra!

Different animals have different brains and capabilities. Snakes, for example, are instinctual. They only do things that theyare programmed to do to survive. They don't bond. They don't have emotions. Dogs are much more intelligent, have larger, more advanced brains, and are indeed very capable of emotion. You see it with your own dog but mistakenly label it as instincts. It's fact, not opinion.Originally posted by Baba Ganoush View PostSo you're saying, I tell my dog to sit, and it's emotions command it to sit? Yes I'm making fun of your dumbass for acting like what you're stating is true when you would have no way of knowing the intent behind your dogs actions. You do get that right? You cannot guarantee your perception of their intent is correct.Originally posted by Baba Ganoush View PostNope, apparently y'all are the dog experts. So what exactly does it take to display and/or have an emotion in your book?

Emotions, thoughts, reason or logic aside is it not enough to make your ball of fur happy??
Jebus is it to hard to bring joy to a creature who's thoughts external to itself is to make you happy?
Simple joy with each other no matter the level should be enough. Of course I am simple too.

Lol! I know, I know. I'm so wrong....I'm the soulless one. But god still loved me enough to give me the best dog in the world. She deserves better, but she's "too filled with conflicting emotions" to leave my shallow ass lol.Originally posted by DON SVO View Post...
