Because they can snoop around and see if you are "suspicious." Who knows, you might have 10k in cash!

Cool man, I had to fight with a APD officer about 2 months ago, over DOT stamped drag radials, and no front plate. Needless to say, he walked away angry at a resident. He had to be the dumbest cop, I have ever encountered. I pulled a tailsman. True story.

Was headed to Denton from gainsville after working a 10 hour shift with no break, in the heat no a/c in the right lane doing 60-65 in a 70, just crusing minding my own bussiness when I get pulled over!

He comes up, tells me it's for no front plate, he reassures me that it's just a warning, no worries no money will be invoked. Comes back, and asked what year my coupe is, said his first partrol car was a 5spd coupe with red interior like mine, said it brought back alot of memories and we talked about ssp cars for a second, he shook my hand and told me to be safe out there and I told him the same. He said I was doing a nice job on my car as well.

There is hope! There is good patrol officers out there!

They only can give you a warning because you do not need a front license plate in texas now.
