My grandpa cut the ears off of Jap bastards on so many pacific islands that he lost count. He wore them as a necklace until they turned black and started to stink. Military combatants in an active war zone verses citizens who you work for in their neighborhood? This really needs to be spelled out?

This. On one hand you have American citizens protected by the Constitution who are paying for you to protect them and actually handing you a paycheck and in return you're harassing them, beating them and sometimes killign them and their families.

On the other hand you have insurgents who are actively trying to kill you with IED's, firefights and oh wait....strapping C4 to their kids and sending them to you knowing you will hesitate to shoot a kid.

Remind me how tough the streets are again?

Actually, I haven't posted anything that is random bullshit about PD's. I've posted instances that would be crimes, felonies in a lot of cases, and violations of the constitutional rights of citizens, were anyone else to perform them

This. We should go back to doing that. Make our enemies fear us. They're muslim? Tell them we are coating our ammo with pig blood and pig fat and they won't go see Allah if we shoot them. Use their religion against them.

I am all for using any force necessary if it saves one American soldier's life.

it was accepted back then. its not now. the point i was getting at is that frost says these people having sex should have been punished and that the ones pissing shouldn't have.

One was on American soil in peacetime with people they should have been supervising, the other was in a warzone with people who just tried to kill them

how many military members have died since the iraq/afgan wars compaired to the ammount deployed? and how many police officers have died in the line of duty in that same ammount of time per the total ammount in the states?

so killing them is not enough? you need to then wait until you all collectivly come up with the bright idea to piss on them and take pictures? its stupid and they got what they should have gotten. dont the military people go through intense training that teaches honor to the uniform and country? not doing childish things that will bring discredit upon them? what is the difference in that and police officers that do stupid things?

The difference is, and this is obviously a very hard concept for you, that the military actually punishes offenders.

I didn't say they weren't tough, I said it's not a warzone. And would you like the compare the punishments if we step out of line versus cops? If we fuck up we get reduction in rank, have to stay in a combat zone getting shot at and blown up, and can be charged with war crimes.

Cops? Worse case scenario? They get fired, no charges filed.

The contact with pigs doesn't count if it was nonconsensual, and I'd bet it's against the rules of engagement to fuck with the dead bodies of the enemy. I would've peed on them, though, FWIW.
