I took this job knowing it was temporary and most likely wouldn't hold out. They brought me in here to do something other than I had intended, and the money isn't good enough to stay around IMO. I have some other things cooking on the back burner, as i've kind of expected this from the onset. No worries, but thank you.

That sucks.

We were very close to selling out this year because of the potential of the tax increases in capital gains in 2011. In the end we decided we could grow business enough in the next 3 years to outstrip the increase and put a few more dollars in our pockets.

But as part of the offer we made a list of the employees and what each would get at the conclusion of the sale... even though they have no legal claim to the purchase price. We also made sure each and every employee was to be offered a position at the new company without fear of layoffs for 3 years.

My partners and I have non ill-conceived that we did this all on our own.

Are you looking for new hires?????? I have no idea what business you are even in, but whatever it is I NEED IN IT!
