So are you going to stop going to the VA and taking the disability check? You keep harping that we are out of money. Someone who is thatadament about something should put up or shut up! Or does that only apply to other people?Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostExactly. In a business, it doesn't matter what you promise, when you run out of money, you're out of money. They either take what you can afford or move on. Oh, and our combat pay qualifications changed as soon as Obama got his hands on the DoD. That was changing our contracts.

[QUOTE=Forever_frost;748363]We were trained to treat Iraqis with utmost respect and had so many rules put on us that if they got hurt fighting US, we had to stop and treat them. Had an incident where a guy wouldn't put down an AK and when we took it away, the front sight post cut his palm. Our medic came over and bandaged him up.
You know frost I've talked to several vets and none of them were rosy fresh innocent with their treatment of Iraqis. Driving tanks over and into cars just because they could and laughing about it. Shooting wounded prisoners so they didn't have to deal with them, the list goes on and on. While in a war situation shit happens don't come back and act all goodie goodie afterwards.

Difference is, the Constitution says that my pay and such are REQUIRED. Now, point me to the Constitutional authority to pay you from federal taxpayersOriginally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostSo are you going to stop going to the VA and taking the disability check? [quote=4eyedwillie;748598]I'm going to call BS as well. You shoot a wounded prisoner, you're a war criminal and will go to Levenworth for years. Running over cars for fun? You have to pay for those. What your 'friends' didn't tell you is after every firefight a soldier with a rucksack full of cash goes around to pay for every injury, every death (including the insurgents who were shooting at us to pay the blood debt) and damages to homes and vehicles. We have so many ROE's that it's unreal.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostWe were trained to treat Iraqis with utmost respect and had so many rules put on us that if they got hurt fighting US, we had to stop and treat them. Now we're getting somewhere. How much oil have we taken from Iraq and Afghanistan? And you didn't talk to republican troops. You talked to no one and watched MSNBC or you talked to the "Veterans against War". A bucnh of cowards who make shit up to make us sound badOriginally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostI wasn't....I didn't want to go get shot at so a oil company could make money.

If your that adament about it then you shouldn't use the service and you shouldn't cash the checks. The constitution doesn't say dick about you having to use the service just that it be available.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostDifference is, the Constitution says that my pay and such are REQUIRED. And FYI I am not nor have I ever been paid from the federal taxpayers.
I just find it funny that you think a cop or firefighter doesn't deserve their pay/benifits but your happy to take yours. I personally think they deserve what their contract promised them and you deserve what yours promised you.

Oh sorry, hearsay, much more dependable. For what it's worth I believe that you believe what those people believe.Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View Post

Hey, you brought up my pay, I'm bringing up yours. I have a constitutional mandate for mine and mine is constantly in flux, being held up for the first cuts by democrats and combat pay is altered while you're in theater. I didn't say they didn't deserve their pay. I said the cities can't afford it.Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostIf your that adament about it then you shouldn't use the service and you shouldn't cash the checks. Now back to teh story, what Republican troops were telling you about these war crimes they committed and how much oil have we gotten from Iraq and Afghanistan?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

It has everything to do with your credentials. This exposes your comments thereafter as mere hearsay, quite possibly even fabrications spun to suit your own personal opinions, which should and shall be given the due disconsideration they deserve.Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostI wasn't....I didn't want to go get shot at so a oil company could make money.
