    there is no way to describe how bad my garmin nuvi is around DFW airport

    It took me through the airport 2 times and would have a 3rd time but I turned it off. It has the latest upgrade but all the roads on 121 and 114 are fucked up.

    You're not the only one. My car has Navteq and I've done the same crap. By the time I reached my destination I could have boarded a plane and been halfway to Fiji!

            It makes logical sense. A conspiracy theory would be it was turned off to allow for an attack to happen.

            I've tried to catch my speed while taking off from multiple airports, and not once have multiple gps's work.

              The windowless roof of an aircraft doesn't make for a good line of sight to the satellites your GPS is trying to connect to.

                  The aluminium really doesn't shield the signal that bad; ~1ghz offers pretty good penetration.
