lithium rechargable AA's?

    Those are resting voltages. Charged up they should read 4.2v each.

    If you are using just the bare Li-Ion cells then yes.
    If you are using the batteries to rebuild a battery pack (such as what comes in a laptop) the electronic circuit that controls charging is normally built in to the pack. If you just pop a Li-Ion cell into a charger for NiMH or Nicad batteries you might experience a nice fire or explosion. I've seen it happen under controlled conditions (I did it for fun to see what would happen)

    search 14500 for lithium cells in a AA size. Expect to still pay about $7 each though... Were you lol at that price per cell? Thats cheap for a lithium cell. Oh and BTW lithium trumps all others.
