Hang in there man. As long as they are healthy they will be ok. Most of the time it's when people are week to begin with is when it makes worse. I have a son that had Lukemia when he was 11 and after his bone marrow transplant he had no immune system and he got Pneumonia allot (like twice a year). Every time was scary and took years of my life but he always pulled through.
Don't be afraid to call the doctor ten times a day if you have to.

Most important thing is to stay strong so you can take care of them.

    Good luck and prayers sent.

Yes, the term disease is just a generic term for any abnormal process affecting your body. The influenza virus ("flu") has killed more people than all other diseases combined. It is estimated that this virus kills approximated 500,000 people each year...in some years it's in the millions. So, yes...the flu is a real, and deadly disease.

this sucks man, hope your kid doesn't have it. i got sick a month or so ago and i was pushing 105 temps. went to the ER and they told me i just had a stomach bug and didn't give me any antibiotics. 2 days later i was worse and went to my regular dr and she told me i had bronchitis. she gave me Z-pac antibiotics and 4 weeks later, i was 100% better. this isn't anything to mess with for sure.

I do believe that Shawn Salazar (Saladbar) died from complications of pneumonia and he was in his 30s I believe.
If you start getting high fevers, cough, rigors, chills, etc, go to the ER.
