Anyone ever buy meat from....

I'll vouch for the guy. I've bought a couple of times from him, and the quality was great. I've only bought choice cuts from him thus far, I can age it right to the edge of the limit, and trim and cut them myself. It's a hike for me, but I make my trips worthwhile by buying a lot when I do go.

Yup, I have bought a couple of hundred pounds myself. Stand up guy, so no one go up there and fuck it up with the typical DFWM 'give you a roller coupe for meat.'

I bough some before. Mediocre at best. You can definately buy better cuts at any grocery store.

This last order from Grill Masters hasn't turned out so well so far. I'm not new to grilling chicken and so far I can't seem to make this turn out decent. I don't think i'll even waste my time with their "warranty"...I always thought it was bs anyway.

As far as steaks go, unfortunately I'm not knowledgable with steak cuts. I have no idea what to look for beyond marbleing. I know what to order at a steak house but buying it from a grocery store and grilling it at home rarely turns out good...I just don't have the know-how.

I did also buy some steaks from them...I'll thaw some out and grill it up this week.

after this last order, i don't think I'll order any more. Is this Heinz57 someone on the board?

haha, no. One is a big hunter/fisherman and has a bunch of meat. I did find some space in my shop freezer, just not sure if it's enough space for that hamburger meat.

when they come down my driveway , first mistake , i ask them if they realize there is around 500 head of cattle within 100 yards of them. then i ask if they would like to buy some real beef .

Man, I wish everyone would offer this, because it is a huge pain in the ass driviing up to meet Hines so often. I just picked some up from him recently.

Buuuut, I'm more than willing to split up the loins because I don't need all of it, and we still have 6 steaks left over at work.
