holy fuck!!Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Should've inquired about a pay day loan or car title loan to consolidate that debt!
I must ask, though. How does one accumulate almost $150,000 in credit card debt?Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

Stay where you are at. You have the opportunity to pay off the debt. Pay it off and then go to your family. Owing that kind of money will cause misery for everyone if you take that kind of pay cut and are not able to pay for what you owe.Originally posted by KCHAR View PostThats the kicker. 14 months ago we were 143000 in credit card debt. I took this job, busted my ass for the past 14 months to pay off 82000 of it but we still have 61000 to go. I see the negative effect me being gone is having on my marriage and kids and i so want to take a job back in dfw but i want to get out of that debt at the same time.

I hope for his sake he had some awesome vegas weekends full of hookers, strippers, and cocaine.
I guess it comes down to this. If i stick it out another year i roll the dice i think on my marriage. It will suck financially if i move home now and will just have to bust ass in other ways but id feel like id have a quicker route to fixing things if that makes sense.

Stay where you're at and pay off debt, take your wifes CC away and cut them up.
Or
Kill yourself for allowing this nonsense.
Or
Kill your wife, take your kids to Montana...Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I would stick it out and pay down what's left of that debt. It will be great to come home to the family without that weighing over your heads anymore

ultimately you have to make the decision. go with your gut. If it tells you to come home, come home and be ultra-frugal till that debt is paid downOriginally posted by KCHAR View PostI wish it was hookers and blow.

I would say pay off the debt first and stock pile a shit into savings before anything else. You still get to see your kids, its not like you are gone for months or years at end.
To pay off $80,000 on $45,000 would take forever.Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

Yeah you need to go ahead and finish what you started or you are probably doomed to repeat. If I had that hanging over my head I'd sit my wife down and just tell this is the way it's going to be until that shit is payed off and we're in the black some. If you think you can knock it out in just another year that is no time. Making 50K a year you'll never make a dent in it....Originally posted by KCHAR View PostThats the kicker. 14 months ago we were 143000 in credit card debt.
