so i went to run on and sun and ski and neither had what i am looking for. im gonna be outta town next week and need a fat guy, sweat, bacon grease proof case. i think the problem came from me wearing the armband on my forearm so i could check my distance and change the music.

Yep, a zip lock with a small piece of a corner torn off to put the earphone cord through.Originally posted by yellowstang View PostZiplock bag, or what ^^^ said.
Or you could do like me, and get an iPod Nano, and realize that exercise is important enough to leave the phone at home/in the locker. I wore that thing daily for years, jogging, lifting, in the sauna, and even the steam room.
It finally locked up after over 5 years, and I think only the steam room was to blame.

Fucking truth! I usually leave my phone in the car and rock the iPod touch when working out these days.Originally posted by Big A View PostYep, a zip lock with a small piece of a corner torn off to put the earphone cord through.

the OP already said he uses the phone for it's GPS, which is what I also do.Originally posted by Big A View PostYep, a zip lock with a small piece of a corner torn off to put the earphone cord through.

the only other option he would have is to buy a Nano and then buy the Nike sensor kit (another $30) to attach to his shoe and use GPS on the Nano. I just prefer using the phone since I then can easily upload all my data to Nike+ and Runkeeper as soon as I'm done with my run.HD Parts
