Yea not at all!! They have been doing em everyday for six years and just now branching out into the retail space. They were doing mostly dealership liners on brand new trucks all this timeOriginally posted by diablo rojo View PostThis
On shit like this, I'd rather pay a little more and have a pro do it and not risk a messy mistake. That stuff isn't fun to undo.

Yea, but I just don't have the time to do all this myself. Work and life in general are keeping me busy this month. I don't even have time for any woodworking projects and my garage is still stuffed to the gills from the move we just did. So I'm going to outsource itOriginally posted by CJ View Post^^^^ I've tried nearly all of them, the Upol Raptor stuff works excellent and it's very durable and easy to apply.
I called Grapevine Ford and they charge $499 but I don't know what product they use. The guy at the parts counter is checking into that. This morning I requested quotes from a few other places, but I haven't heard back yet.

Yeah I can respect that. There is a shitload of prep required to properly lay down bed liner, but the savings is huge. The cheapest Line-X quote I got on my Jeep was $750 - lol. That's another gun.Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostYea, but I just don't have the time to do all this myself. Work and life in general are keeping me busy this month. Enough to do a standard truck bed. A jeep leaves you with extra. There are local places that sell it locally. Herculiner is also popular and its roll on. But if you have a compressor I would suggest the raptor. It's so much easier to apply, and its much more durable. Herculiner will fade to a flat texture after some time, raptor can have UV additive added and can be color matched. Herculiner is more like a thick paint with rubber balls in it. Raptor is more of a epoxy which builds up and absorbs impacts.Originally posted by JimD View PostLooks great, how much material u get for the $100?"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Well I'm not hearing back from any of these liner installers so I guess I'll reconsider doing it myself. Raptor looks pretty good, as does Gator Guard. I'll just have to wait until I finish getting my garage sorted out.

Ive got a cj-5 project going and gonna spray the inside, might try that stuff if i can find a supplier local(shreveport). Its a little bit cheaper than gator guard.Originally posted by CJ View PostEnough to do a standard truck bed. A jeep leaves you with extra. There are local places that sell it locally. Ive used gator guard on several vehicles, nothing hard at all about it, biggest deal is masking or covering in plastic EVERYTHING you don't want covered....the shit goes everywhere. Everything means hood, front bumper, walls of garage, etc.Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostWell I'm not hearing back from any of these liner installers so I guess I'll reconsider doing it myself. That looks damn tempting as I've got three trucks I'd like to do. Any other pointers? Does everyone do the top of the bed caps?Originally posted by CJ View Post^^^^ I've tried nearly all of them, the Upol Raptor stuff works excellent and it's very durable and easy to apply.
