Considering a state trooper gave me a warning when mine was two months out of date, he was a dick.

He was cool. I think he was after someone else in a red mustang because I was making a left hand turn on to the service road and he was coming at me, about 100 yards away. I made the turn and I saw him blow through the stop sign and chase me down. He rode on my ass for about 1/2 mile and flicked his lights on. He acted real nervous too, hand on his gun, wide berth, got right by my pillar where he could see my hands through the windshield.

I was polite and explained that I honestly didn't know it was out. After he ran my license, he relaxed and asked me to get it taken care of. Might have helped that I have a spotless driving record.
