    I refused to say the pledge of allegiance for a long time as a teenager at school because I felt it was forced and not sincere.

    you've ever done?

    With all this talk of limiting people's freedom of speech, etc., it got me wondering. What is the most un-American or unpatriotic thing you've ever done? Take benefits you didn't need/deserve/earn? Burn a flag?

    I think for me, it's not voting in a presidential election. It was Bush vs Kerry. I wasn't a huge fan of Bush, but there was no way in hell I thought Kerry could be the leader of the free world. I knew Bush would take Texas, so I didn't even bother.
