My niece mentioned that it should be legalized but just called a civil union, I told her that would not work since homosexuals will still cry and bitch that not calling it a marriage is wrong.


I don't agree with it, but as mentioned, it doesn't effect me... at the first look. I really don't want my children subjected to it. If it is legalized, it WILL be introduced into public schools, there will be some type of program that puts it in front of children. At that point, it goes from 'doesn't effect me' to 'effects me'.

I see, my response was more to DOHCTR on a logical reason to not allow legal marriage to animals or multiples.

I laugh at the "Sanctity of Marriage" bullshit. My brother-in-law was married and divorced in less than a year. Two current co-workers and one previous coworker have all been married at least 3 times. One of them is on his FIFTH marriage.
My parents divorced after 18 years. My best friends growing up saw their parents divorce, one when he was 5, the other when he was 21.

I think that you are correct regarding brain wiring and homosexuality. There have been some studies that revealed differences in the brain structure between straight and gay people. Google "homosexual brain structure" and you get pages and pages of links to the studies and articles.
