Your compassion is short lived and entirely subjective it seems. My friend I mentioned before left a suicide note, and one of his reasons for killing himself was the soft and compassionate reception another one of his friends received. I personally feel that the compassion society has for suicides contributes to the problem. You are asking me to have compassion, and you're castigating me for not feeling like you do

Like I said - it's all logical to me.

There is nothing logical about suicide. That's the whole thing. Nobody in their right mind commits suicide. People that commit suicide are out of their mind, in the sense that they think it makes sense. At the time, they think it's logical. At the time, they think it is the only solution. Otherwise, they wouldn't do it.

Just look at what you have done yourself in this conversation to make yourself feel better, and to "be right."

This is what I'm referring to. In this very sentence you said I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, but don't have one. That's what I've highlighted here. The reason why you don't want me to speak my mind, is because you disagree with it on a moral ground - that is exactly what you just said. Do you understand now? You're flooding your perception and arguments with emotion, and it doesn't make any sense. You're putting words into my mouth based on your perception, and you're making conclusions based on your personal morality "practice a little tact." You're opinion is just as subjective and valid as my own, but you feel yours is far more important - this is the exact definition of "holier than thou." And that is true hypocrisy.
