Like^ or you could do like OCII and get an rcsb chev/gmc, they can be found for super cheap and he doesn't need to feel bad crashing a classic.

I drove mine daily for years, never had any of those issues. My issues were a result of beating on it too much, or rookie mechanical mistakes, on my part.

I've had 2 C4's shit themselves from good ole 3rd gear flare up. Hail? Forget about it.

lol yes! I have never been so in tune with the weather when I drove mine. I knew if it would rain that my car would not start.

I also favor the single cab truck idea, my parents were very smart on doing that for me.

That's what my parents thought about my 92 4 cyl. coupe. Most I ever fit was 9, got pulled over with 7!
