The wheel too, right? I was thinking the back edge of the trunk kicked up like a spolier too?Originally posted by gnturboray View Post$3500 if its an 86 around 4k if its an 87. The hood is really the only TR part that you would have to contend with, the rest of the body parts are standard Regal.
I have always loved these cars from a distance.

Lots of differences and lots of similarities with the n/a Regal. I paid more for mine but it came from the dealer and only had 30 or so miles on it. I traded a h/a 84 T-Type on it so I have been around these for some time. Doubt I know it all or even most but I do have some knowledge.
By the looks of it with 100k miles and a decent interior, 20 ft paint and a running driving drivetrain I would guess it could bring $55-6500. Seller will want more but I doubt it would bring more. With nice paint, new interior, rebuilt drivetrain, with a good fresh trans from a reputable builder, I doubt it would bring more than 10-12k and you'd have more than that in it unless the guy is wanting to unload for a DFWM lowball price.IMORich

I was speaking of the body panels that may need to be replaced. The (WE2) or Grand National package was an appearance package for the Turbo Regal ie; Interior, badging, rear spoiler and wheels.Originally posted by Frank View PostThe wheel too, right? That house looks familiar. Guy I know up in that area USED to be big in the street racing scene back around 01-03 or so that had an 89 TTA AND an 87 GN that had some serious iron under the hood...(built Stage II 4.1 with ported Champion Aluminum heads, T&D rollers, BIG roller cam, a Precision Dual BB turbo, Heavily built 2004R with Vigilante lockup converter, and more). He may have ran out of money as he was living a good life on a trust fund at the time. The car did NOT have a rollcage but I know it ran high 10's/low 11's at Temple before they kicked him off the track. It could also be just another down n out 86/87 GN that someone broke and can't fix (like mine)

was he the one that ran around with some 80's white turbo t/a? Both cars were sleepers.Originally posted by ram57ta View PostThat house looks familiar. ALL of the 89 TTA's were white (although he did help a buddy of his convert a RED GTA T/A to a 3.8 SFI Turbo although the red one used a 700R4 and wasn't as fast as a REAL 89 TTA). His TTA was for the most part stock (chip, K&N)...it was still fast enough even stock to handle MOST cars on the street. His GN....if he could ever hook up on the street...was a sleeper for a GN. It was very fast...but traction was always the problem....I watched him race a Viper on I-75 in Richardson from behind in my GN and he broke loose in a 60 punch. There were a LOT of GN's/T-Types, WE4's, and a few TTA's cruising the streets around 01-03 (myself included) so its hard to say if you saw his cars or not.Originally posted by gonzoss View Postwas he the one that ran around with some 80's white turbo t/a?
