Need VW Jetta Advice or Opinions

Air bag light, Check Engine Light and Anti-lock Brake System lights are all things that are too common with these cars.

Make sure it has had its services. If not I wouldn't even look at it. Ask to see the warranty file for the car. See what reoccurring problems there have been and what the fixes were.

just not the repairs.....

you will get taxed at the shop because they are a huge PITA to work on

Depends on the miles. I am a huge champion for German autos, just not the repairs.....

Thinking about spending 5k on one and wanna know what people think about them. It's a 1.8 turbo. Won't be used for racing, but for work. Have a wife and kid. Just want to get something that had a little get up and go when needed. Dependable and durable. Reason i'm asking is because, I never here anyone talk bad about them.
