I'm not lol. Just don't want to pass up a chance to actually say I made money on selling a new car. That's got to be 1 in a million.

started a topic What would yall do?

    What would yall do?

I ran across an old buddy today who owns a car wholesale business and sells to multiple dealerships in the city. He wanted to know if my truck was for sale and said they are bringing top dollar right now. I just laughed and said make me an offer expecting it to be really low. He actually offered me about $1,500 more than I paid for the thing brand new. I knew the used car market was high right now, but didn't think it was that high. It helps that I got an awesome deal on my truck when I bought it new and I know I couldn't touch that same deal ever again. So what would yall do. I figure I have these options.

    1. Keep the truck. I love it and if I replace it with the same thing down the road it's going to cost me alot more than this thing did. It's a 2011 F150 4x4 King Ranch with ecoboost. 2012 Fx4's are costing more than I paid for my truck right now.

    2. Be a nice husband. Sell my truck and buy my wife an expedition she's been wanting for a long time. Doing this would save me about $200 a month on the payment. I would probably end up driving my wife's fusion and then look for me a toy on the side. I don't care what I drive because I don't drive any miles at all. My truck is almost a year old and only has 10k miles on it.

    3. Sell the truck and buy a new or slightly used mustang. Doing this would save me a at least $250 a month and maybe even more. The downside is I wouldn't have a truck, but that can always be fixed with a cheap beater. Does this look like a decent deal. I havent' been keeping up with the newer mustang prices and I don't know if I'd like the stripes or not. I'd have to see it in person. http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/3220947902.html
