Brought home a truck

08' F250 4x4 with V10 here. I can squeeze around 13-14 highway if I'm lucky. Around town I get around 10. I don't drive it everyday though. Few times a week if that. I don't really tow anything. I use the payload more than anything. Still pretty fun in the mud too..hahaha

LOL V10. Yes 10mpg is actually normal. The V10 is terrible compared to the 7.3.

Not being a smart ass - need to get some paint on that home if it is yours. Nice truck though, but that's why I just recently bought into an economy car. 200-250 a week in gas was killing me.

Not a bad truck for the price. Anytime you wanted to get out from under it I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem selling it to someone that only speaks spanish.

My buddy who is my handyman, is down with a bad back. I've already put siding up on every side but that one. It's coming. My daily driver is a 11 Edge with the 3.5L. I average 22-32 mpg. That's solely my farm truck

I got tired of trying to stuff things in my Edge so I bought a used 99 F250 SD 4x4. Has anyone played with the V10 6.8L? Seems to have a ton of power but has crap for mileage. Is 10mpg normal?
