LOL!! I'm waving that flag...I'm more than happy to let this guy look over the 70+ pages (literally) of work orders from my last POS Dodge 2500. Let me tell you, it's not cool driving around in Texas in a 3 yr old vehicle with the windows down in the summer b/c that's the more comfortable option...or having to disconnect the battery at the airport for fear it may not start when you get back 3-5 days later, or worrying that your dog is going to get into the anti-freeze that the fucker leaks all over the driveway every time you park it, or the annoyance of the door locks randomly locking and/or unlocking on their own while driving down the road, as well as the random door chime (with all doors closed) while driving down the road.

I could go on, but I'm betting you get what I'm saying. 4 incompetant dealerships couldn't fix it under warranty....actually I ended up diagnosing most of the electrical issues myself, but I finally gave up and threw in the towel on the AC and coolant leak problems that they never could fix for longer than a few weeks. 2-years was enough for me....if that Dodge was on fire, I'd push my new 10' F150 away from it before I'd piss on that Dodge to put it out.

The 5.9 was awesome...great power with just a Bullydog, good MPG, etc....but it still wasn't enough to overcome the shitbag wrapper that it came in.

Dude, knock that damned chip off of your shoulder from that junky Mustang experience you had and just go drive a new F150. I know you had a bad experience with that car, but it was just one unit out of a mass production model...do you really need to fault the entire Ford make just b/c of a bad experience with that one car? I know what you are saying and I'd totally get it if you were talking about buying another Pony car...Mustang no question for you, it's the same as I feel about any 2500/3500 Dodge built after 06'....they're junk, I know it and lived it first-hand, but that is just one out of many models...it doesn't mean I'll dismiss the whole make.

For the money you are talking about, I think you really should do yourself a favor and go drive a nice new loaded F150...you've got the time, drive one with the 5.0 or hell even a 10' with a 5.4, if you like it then wait until March/April when the Eco-Boost starts hitting lots and check it out....I think you'll be surprised. They ride like a car, they are literally silent on the inside, interior comfort and layout is like nothing else I've owned, and personally I think they are one of the best looking 1/2 tons on the market (a lot of others will agree)....couple those and several other points to something like the power and economy from tha Eco motor, and you may just find that it's right what you are looking for...without the need and/or added cost of a 3/4+ ton truck.

    Just my $.02

They don't look to bad. The interior is 100 times better then any other older models.

See this is a prime example that Dodges are a lot cheaper then fords. My 2010 F-350 CC long bed SRW FX4 XLT with cloths seats power everything MSRP was 52k and some change. I got it for 38 but still a XLT is the same price as a fully loaded Dodge. See if a fully loaded Ford Lariat would come down to the same price as a Dodge then I believe more people would buy the fords cause of all the features and comfort ford offers over the dodge.

Is that SLT or a Laramine?
