Aluminum scrap

Anyone know the average rate for aluminum scrap per pound? I called a couple places and only 1 bought it at .50 cents a pound. Not sure if that's good.

I have some bent 19 inch wheels that I just took off my car and wanted to sell for scrap.

From what I hear, the price is around 50 cents a pound.
