There are over 200 contractors in Afghanistan. Depending on your skill-set and experience/history you can search "LOGCAP jobs Afghanistan" for hiring companies.

We do year tours. Any shorter and the troops rotate too quickly and we lose track of equipment.

I have not even set up private internet yet. Word is, and I will know more tomorrow, I am about to do a whole shit load of traveling for the next year plus. I am to become the base closure guy for the big drawdown. Good thing is that means job security for the long term.
