If you rode at Northshore, then yes, not exactly beginner level, and if you were on a cheap bike it only makes it worse.

That's not a beginner trail by any means. On the bright side, if you develop your skills at that trail, it makes the rest of the trails in DFW that much easier. Loop D or E (forget which) out there is where men are made.

I have done parts of D and E (it was ridiculous, and it doesn't help the self esteem when old people are tearing ass by you as you are struggling to walk up this seemingly impossible climb). Also, every time I have tried D and/or E I get lost and wind up on one of the roads and end up riding for ever before I know where I am.....but it is still fun

Cyclocross clinic at flagpole hill on Sunday.Tuesday night cross race starts this coming week in Richardson. Wednesday night races start in a few weeks in Irving at Campions.

I have a 2010 or 09 gt avalanche 3.0 it's a blast to ride. The front fork sucks ass though.
