Tired of getting flamed for giving an opinion or thought...regardless of how stupid someone else thinks it is...so I just browse now; don’t even log in half the time

Luis' death has effectively trivialized (at least for me) a lot of so-called drama I've seen on here recently and in the past. However, I say that and still continue to take a peak from time to time. Yet have no interest in participating. People are just getting older and more focused on family IMO. Less emphasis on car hobbies, etc..It happens on every site with aging core members, not just here. A lot of sites are showing decline in post count. Kind of like ramforumz having 38K members, but only about 50 - 100 that actually log a post. That ratio is actually quite normal for the most part. The trick is to try and get your click-thru traffic to translate into board activity.

I think the hazing of newbies is quite funny and entertaining at times, but it probably isn't going to allow for much growth.
