This is what happened. I finished getting dressed and took off down the road following the ruts down the shoulder. Guy was paid to cut the pasture because the rancher had forgotten all year so he was catching up. I offered to pay the guy for doing it and he told me he'd already been paid so I offered lunch.

Then we sat on the tailgate and talked trucks for a bit and I offered to make him a rack of ribs next time he's cutting next door if he'll just warn me 24 hours in advance. I'm really not too bad if you're not fucking with me

I did a similar thing recently with my neighbor because they will not do fence repairs. Looks like shit, and my dogs started getting out because of it. So I marched my ass right over there, dewalt in hand and repaired their entire fence along my property line.

I did knock and no one answered, which I was kinda happy about because I was not happy and I probably wouldn't have been able to not be shitty about it.

I haven't heard anything from them, I guess think think God fixed their fence.

I could have let it go and tossed it up to randomness but I hate feeling like I owe someone so I went to find out what was up. Feel much better knowing what the deal is. Here in a few hours I have to go out and patch the fence because he drug the wire back (the mower guy) but didn't actually attach it to the posts. It's just laying against the T posts
