Meh, not that worried about it. If I could find the parts cheap enough, I wouldn't mind swapping over to the LTZ/Tahoe dash setup. If mine cracks, that gives me an excuse to do the swap.Originally posted by QIK46 View PostIm not sure if you could reinforce the back of the dash or not. Mines already fubard so im just gonna leave it.

I think its only the LTZ Tahoe dashes that do it. When the dash heats up you cant really tell but once it comes back to normal temp it looks like shit. Mine waited 102K miles so thats not too bad.Originally posted by 71chevellejohn View PostThe brake switch will fix your cruise problem - I had that issue a while back on my 08. Very quick/easy fix.
I've been in/out of quite a few new body trucks and haven't seen any cracked dashes except in wrecked trucks.

I'll check out some of those suggested. I don't really plan on doing much...I was listening to the radio this morning and I guess only the front doors have speakers??? I messed with the audio controls some while driving this morning and it seems there's no rear speakers.... I think an audio upgrade will be first.
Other than that, just looking for some ideas on lowering it a bit and maybe some bolt ons down the road.
