Anyone see the jets near addison airport?

They were 3 of them over Richardson at about 1:15. Pretty tight formation.

There's a group of F18's doing a demonstration and I know previous years they've been seen all over the metroplex the day or two before the air show.

Here are the jets that were in Addison. 04mongoose works at a hangar in Addison and spoke with the pilots. He said they stopped to pick up 2000 gallons of fuel andwere headed to Key West, FL for training.

There were 3-4 small old planes flying with one big plane in close proximity over eagle mountain lake Today

Odds are they wanted to stop at Alliance but couldn't due to the airshow, so they stopped at ADS.

I know that there is an airshow at alliance this weekend. Blue angels are flying around right now practicing

x2 there's a tfr around alliance airport. Ill be buzzing around it and flying into grand praire this weekend!

Heard one about 30 minutes ago that sounded like it was going to tear the roof off. I'm really close to Alliance though.

It's neat seeing all the aircraft in the sky. I grew up in Oak Cliff area and I remember seeing all kinds of cool planes in the air since there was an active base in the area, nostalgic.

Not quite, they have a contract through a company that's located at Addison airport. 04Mongoose said they typically have military helicopters show up but get a of some sort once in a while.

I was at the show today and they delayed the F4 demo by like 10 min. cause an AA plane had to come in for "emergency maintenance" and needed the runway.
So if they NEEDED to fuel I'm sure they would have postponed for them.
I only saw 1 Super Hornet though. There was another on static display but I wont pretend that I can tell the diffrence between the other models without something or someone telling me.
