Stop being a fucktard. yes there was disease.....just like today. Yes, some starved......but not the ones that made sure they wouldnt. Warfare is still brutal and with other tribes. You make it out like that is what happened all day every day. most of the time they lived peacefully, survived, and reaped the benefits of it.Originally posted by jluv View PostLOL!
Was it the disease, starvation, slavery, brutal warfare with other tribes, forced relocation, or genocide that you miss so much about your time as a Native American?

Maybe that is it. those instances of pure joy are far and few. dont get me wrong, they totally make the rest of the time completely worth it.....but they are far and few.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostI don't know Jester, but after reading his posts' for years, and following some of his life (through his posts'), I feel like he's still looking for something he hasn't found, and may not be attainable.
Most of us feel like the "hamster on the wheel" at some point in our lives. Life IS what you make of it. No one else can make you happy.
I have found my place in life but with this fucking workers comp bullshit and waiting to get fixed with no end in sight, i am going nuts waiting on starting a new life. I am stuck in "hurry up and wait" mode.

white man came
across the sea
he brought us pain
and misery
he killed our tribes
he killed our creed
he took our game
for his own need
we fought him hard
we fought him well
out on the plains
we gave him hell
but when it came
too much for cree
oh will we ever
be set free
'merica

Life was better than the time period I currently am in..........12 years ago. I could run forever, college life was the shit, our president wasnt trying to kill our way of life, the history channel showed history, and so on and so on and so on.Originally posted by talisman View PostAh yes, the illusion of life being better if you lived in a time period other than the one you're currently in. Go watch Midnight in Paris then come back to reality, jackhole.

I used to walk up hills both ways to school and to the store for my maw, I know what cold is!Originally posted by Jester View PostI have pretty much done that. I live in the country now and am far south so my fucking toes dont freeze off in the winter.
And seriously, you little bitches have no fucking idea what I mean by cold as shit toes. They got FUCKED up in the marines and have no circulation and the little fuckers turn blue and do their best to make me miserable. if you have no experience of this, you have no idea what you are talking about.
