Hell no, and they don't own Volvo either, but they're still sharing architecture in a few places. Expect that to go away.

why would'nt it? theres a reason they made it from 79-93.. it was popular and practical (hatch with fold down seats) for a sports car..

Looks like an Altima got hooked with a coat hanger in the second trimester. Back end(as in behind the quarter windows) has potential, but the "spoiler" totally kills everything else it has going back there. Rest of it just looks like 3 other bland cars combined into one hack job. Now that they've reintroduced the 5.0 I would really like to see a fox hatch retro derivative.

Because Americans don't want simple and functional. They want as much shit as possible at the expense of the basic function of the car, namely the driving experience.

But keep it at 3300lbs....or less
