I've got about 10 hours on the HF cordless drill.....nothing wrong with it. It doesn't have quite as much torque as the Ryobi, and the battery doesn't last quite as long. But for 14.99, it's a pretty good buy.

Update...I bought the Harbor Freight cordless drill also. I needed to add knobs to every cabinet in the new house ( I hate no knobs). HF had their 18V cordless drill for $14.99 during thier "Black Friday" sale. So I bought it, so I could use one to drill & the other to screw on the knobs.Originally posted by white trash wagon View Post

I will admit, my cordless drill is easily older then I am that my old man gave me.Originally posted by scootro View Post
With that said, I use the hell out of my cordless Milwaukee set with lithium batteries."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

I bought a Porter Cable at Lowes. It came in a kit with a circular saw and two batteries. I am real happy with the drill. The saw is nice if you have only a few smallcuts to make. The saw eats the battery pretty fast, but it is really light and handy. I had a Harbor Freight drill that worked fine for several years, but the charger went bad, and they had no way to get another one. The dumb guy there tried to sell me another battery. I just looked at him and said, Why ?"

I bought a 19.2 Volt C3 Craftsman Drill online a couple of days ago for $39.99. For the money I think it's hard to beat.
