Next time you want to build your own sixer, go to Total Wine. You'll be overwhelmed. They have the largest beer selection I've ever seen and they have singles of everything and tons of bombers. It also doesn't hurt that they are cheaper than anyone on beer, wine and liquor the one in Fort Worth is immaculate.

the one in FW also just opened like a week ago. Did you happen to drive right up the street on Hulen where there is also a brand new Spec's? Spec's has always had the best selection and lowest prices on beer of any store I've found.

Had no idea there was a Spec's on Hulen. I was so excited to see a Total Wine, all else was a blur. I'll definitely check out Spec's just to see what they're about.

Arlington sucks for beer. WTF. I just drove to three different stores today and finally just grabbed something for the heck of it. Kroger and Albertsons here have the option to build your own sixer, but they don't have anything decent to choose. Just moved back over here from the Hulen area, right before they opened the Total Wine and Spec's Then there's also Goody Goody which was awesome.

and the liquor stores here suck ass too. The nearest stores, like majestic on 20/bus 287 and majestic and Big Daddy's on 303, don't have shit on their shelves. They are literally empty like theyre about to shut down.

Agreed. Once I saw Total Wine was opening up I was ecstatic. Hall's was my stand-by for a long time since it was on the way home from work. The Majestic and Bid Daddy's you're referring to don't have shit on the shelf because they can't pay their vendors. Now that TW is open, I'll make the twelve minute drive from Arlington, and those other places will cease to exist to me. My next trip will be to Spec's on Hulen in a few weeks after I finish what I picked up today.

Same here. I plan to hit up TW prob on Thurs or Fri. I work in Burleson and live in Arlington, so it'll only be a little bit out of my way.
