my dad has one of those, almost identical, but different paint. He bought it new, I like it.

Interesting story.. One of my brothers was in the Special Effects industry for about 10 years and relayed this story.

The original truck used in the first movie was not saved. So when the second / third movies were being made they had to find one. A co-worker of my brother just happened to have the same year and body style truck so they "rented' it from him and modded it to look the same.

They made it look brand new and paid him to use it, then he got the truck back when filming was done.
