The only thing I ever get at Popeye's is the red beans and rice.. I love it. Not that I dislike their chicken, I honestly don't think I ever had it.

When I was stationed in Korea and had a 24 hour or weekend pass I usually went down to a city called Tongduchon. The Army post there had a Popeye's right next to the bus depot (where I had to catch a bus at like 8AM to make it back "home" before my pass expired. All my friends would get their breakfast biscuits and I HATED them.

My favorite chicken place as a kid was Williams Chicken in Grand Prairie. I've been to Canes and I wasn't impressed as well. I'd pefer Chicken Express or even Churches chicken. Also Popeyes cause its the shiz net

I knew a kid in elementary school that mixed his ketchup and mayo. He also ate his boogers.

Dog$hit, now that made me laugh.

Never been to canes, sounds like an easy to eat while driving food. Might explain the popularity. Dunno.

I have had Bushes in Midland and Odessa. Never a bad meal. Off the charts in sodium and then there is the deep fried aspect for those watching the collesterol. Good Stuff.

Also like Chicken Express. Great for a $40 meal to quiet the masses when the squids have there friends over. Have gotten from Burleson, S cooper , bowen and eastchase. Always tasty. Love the fried okra and the poppers are good too. what the hell spell check keeps changing okra to IKEA. Damn northerners dont know what okra is?

    Chick-fil-a > Canes

As far as the sauce, get a packet or two of the spicy dressing at Ckick-fil-a to dunk yo shit.

Had Canes once and wasn't impressed at all. Not necessarily bad, but bland and just generally "meh"

I'd rather have some spicy chicken strips from Popeyes with their BBQ sauce. At least it tastes like something.
