never mind, just checked out pricing $1290-1600 per person. Ouch! Fuck I could go to Vegas for 4 days staying at Madalay Bay cheaper than that.

That and private parties are cheap on a ship, we had 20 on my last cruise and it was $11.44 a head for an hour. The second hour would have been like $6 more. You also have the past guest party, captain's party and the bon voyage party that'll usually have an open bar. Also the art auctions have free champagne and there seems to be one nearly every sea day. Then when in port if you get out of the cruise terminal drinks are usually dirt cheap!
You also have lots of people with rum runners and many people just smuggle full bottles. Also you can bring a bottle of wine per adult with you and you can buy bottles through their gift shop and have them in your cabin when you board. They are more than liquor store prices but not too far off.

Not if you don't get off the boat. Of course I wouldn't mind paying Phil a visit..

Carnival held any purchases you made for liquor (via the gift shop) and gave them to you the night before you left the ship. They would also check you when re-boarding from ports-of-call and if you had liquor they would confiscate it and hold it also.

Only thing is, I only see them in a kiosk once or twice a year, selling the packages. Did she get them another way?
