I have 5 left of a 6er I picked up of Lone Star Bock. It was terrible, after 3 sips I poured out the rest. Free to anyone who hates their taste buds.

Fireman's 4 has been my go to beer here lately.

This is probably my favorite winter time beer though, it is almost like a beer milkshake.

You have to try this beer on tap its 100x's better than out of the bottle. You could also trying pouring it into a Porter glass how a porter is designed to be poured.
There is a place in old town Rockwall called Zanatas that has it on tap.

That's a shame it's not any better, I like plain Lonestar in bottles.

Shift is quite good, pretty similar to Dale's as far as being a great beer just to have around when I don't want to think about my choice of beverage. And I hate lagers.

Speaking of, anyone venture into lambics much? I've got a couple of buddies who swear they're going to be the new fad when everyone and their mother has gotten over brewing IPAs. Very interesting, very different, not sure I'm sold on them yet.

The only lambic I've had was a Sam Adams cranberry lambic. Not sure that it really qualifies as a true lambic and probably isn't considered a "good" one, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

The reviews are hit or miss. I chalk that up to personal desire of their palate. The ones who liked it, really liked it.
