  • Anyone know what "Texas Racetrack" Timothy McVeigh bought the racegas from?

Can't seem to find it via google search, I want to say I heard at one time it was Texas Raceway in Kennedale. Any truth to this?

Ha, Leah posted that picture of McVeigh in the other thread and I went and read the wiki on it to refresh my memory on what happened that day and read that he got the fuel from a "Texas Racetrack". I could have sworn I heard that it was kdale at one point but can't seem to find anything that says that.

Who cares? What difference will it make?

In October 1994, posing as a motorcycle racer, McVeigh obtained three 55-U.S.-gallon (46 imp gal; 210 L) drums of nitromethane on the pretense that he and some fellow bikers needed the fuel for racing
This is all I could find, the search continues.

So I did a search and saw this:

McVeigh had originally intended to use hydrazine rocket fuel, but it proved to be too expensive
I almost wish that CS'er would have gotten some hydrazine. He wouldn't have time to suffer the effects of the cancer it would give him, but maybe he would have blown him self to pieces before going full retard.

If it was in the DFW area it was probably superfuels off of I35. I bought a gallon of nitro there back around that time. I told the guy it was for some homemade RC fuel.....

I think I heard it was out at Texas Motorplex in Ennis...

Too bad he didn't get the hydrazine and blow his sorry ass to bits before he
                              killed those folks in OKC.
