Looks like my check was $32 short this time. While it's not that big of a difference it still sucks!

Those of you saying much more than 100/check are either making way over 250K, get paid monthly, or aren't lookin at increases in other things. The 2% increase caps at 113,700 which means a person paid biweekly would see no more than an $87.46 hit per check.

That isn't true. They tax the first $113,700 you make at an additional 2% over last year, so if your first check happens to be $113,700 (like Davbrucas!) it all comes from there.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostThose of you saying much more than 100/check are either making way over 250K, get paid monthly, or aren't lookin at increases in other things. My check was $8000 short and I'm blaming it all on Obama. True I was averaging out. So eventually you will see an increase in your check by 6.2% when you hit 137,000Originally posted by Broncojohnny View PostThat isn't true. SS withholding phased out last year at $90K. Meaning that once you eclipsed the $90K mark in annual income, they stopped withholding. For most DFWM members, that was probably sometime in Feb 12, so you've probably gotten used to a larger check.- Darrell

god bless.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
