He did sell in 2017 and moved into a different house not very far from there. I think it was on the south side of 121.

I faintly remember the story, but what were the details of his beef with the board? I tried to search canada, but there were too many hits on his name to be of any use.

I remember flipping stations in the late 90's in my '96 GT, getting to The Eagle and wondering why it was dead air. Then the giggling would start. Then I would remember why I didn't tune into The Eagle at certain times. Then Martin threatened to sue the board and I laughed and laughed. Chris may have fucked up with the way he sold the board to Canada, but the way he stood up to that douche was pretty awesome.

I did listen to Howard Stern back when he was on the radio in the morning, but that crazy mofo was at least entertaining. Once I discovered Sirius in 2005, I've never listened to OTA radio since and if I'm not in my car it's weird hearing commercials.

I’m the same. I try to listen to podcasts and can take maybe 15-20 minutes before I’m disinterested. Maybe I have ADHD. There’s some really cool people that have podcasts that I want to listen to and I’ve tried but I can’t take it.

You know you’re getting old when they’re playing stuff you grew up listening to on the Edge, the Eagle and Y95 on the Classic Rock stations.

They did a reformat and now it's The Freak that started a couple of weeks ago. Mike Rhyner that started The Ticket and retired in 2020 came out of retirement to start The Freak, bringing some Ticket refugees along with him. The 3-7 program has Rhyner and Sirios and I enjoy that more than the Hardline, but that's the only one I like better than The Ticket so far.

Have to check out Rhyner's show. He seemed to just do lead in and small commentary at the end of his time at the Ticket.

I don't listen to the Ticket anymore after Jr went off on the cops after Jacob Blake was shot by police in Wisconsin. Pissed me off and haven't turned on the Ticket since.
