    It´s from the Rum Diary .
    Talisman- I just figured out something weird though. Whenever I read your post I read it in Johnny Deep´s FALILV accent and have a picture of him driving down the road looking for bats.

              I thought that the first 80% of that movie was awesome! Then it fell flat hard. Maybe I just got too drunk at the end?

                  No, they royally fucked up that movie, and most of it was towards the end. It's like the director suddenly decided at the end,"Hey, we need to have some goofy drug scene since it's a HST story, lets recycle some lines from FALILV, and maybe no one will notice!" Book wasn't anything like that, it was a straight coming of age story where a journalist finds his way and was modeled off many things that actually happened to HST. It is one of his best works, I highly recommend it.
