Actually that's not true. As someone who can't even spell ASVAB I wouldn't expect you to know. In order to enter the military you have minimum scores to make before they'll look at you. Most infantrymen are in the upper percentile of the test and chose infantry out of either the want for a challenge, or patriotism. If you understood the sheer amount of information required to be memorized and understood to be an infantryman it'd probably stun you.

9-12 weeks? Try 19. I never claimed to be a messiah. I claimed to be someone who reads, understands and is sworn to protect the Constitution. And $400 a month? Someone won't even get my address for $400 a month

well we need higher grades of standards. standardized testing for those competent enough to be in a battlefield. they will take any tom dick or harry who is willing to take a bullet (so to speak) instead of finding trained, capable individuals to fight the battles.

when these green horns run out there and get a cap popped in their ass (or helmet) in the first week of work after what 9-12 weeks of boot camp, and WE the people end up paying their way for the rest of their lives we need to look in to our protocol measures.. it's no different than a crackhead in the hood who had 6 years of highschool, and 18 weeks of sex ed, yet popped out a kid in the 10th grade.

with that said, let me add this. Half the pistol packing Dirty Harry's on this website have no more gun experience than shooting at a range, yet you wanna call me crazy for saying the things i say on fire arms, in general.
